Nutrición y Covid-19


La pandemia provocada por el Covid-19 nos ha llevado a permanecer en casa y que parte de nuestros hábitos y rutinas cambiasen. Es esta fase posiblemente también cambiaron hábitos de alimentación, actividad física y /o ejercicio físico.

Un mayor consumo de bollería tanto industrial como casera, picoteos superfluos acompañado de una menor actividad física al estar encerrados han podido dar como resultado un aumento de peso. Pero ahora que ya huele a verano y que han ido avanzando las fases de desescalada nos sobrevuela la idea de bajar el peso que se ha podido aumentar durante el confinamiento. Pero, ¿qué y cómo hacerlo? ¿a quién acudir?

Reorganizar, introducir y retomar hábitos adecuados de alimentación es fundamental.

Para ello, saber configurar de forma adecuada nuestro plato y optimizar el consumo de verduras y hortalizas, frutas, legumbres, carnes, pescados, huevos y cereales integrales es primordial. Además, tener herramientas que nos permitan poder llevar a nuestro plato estos grupos de alimentos según las circunstancias individuales de cada uno como pueden ser aprender a hacer una compra saludable, poco tiempo para cocinar, gusto por la cocina, pequeño abanico de recetas, nivel de actividad, etc. nos acercarán a disfrutar de una alimentación saludable y que nos permita perder el peso ganado en la etapa de confinamiento.

Aprender a comer de manera saludable y disfrutar de ello en la mayor parte de nuestras comidas mejorando salud y composición corporal es una de las funciones que tenemos los dietistas-nutricionistas. No todo es perder unos kilos sino que perdamos salud a cambio de posiblemente establecer peores relaciones con la comida, mitos alimentarios,  ansiedad, peor estado emocional y sufrir un efecto rebote entre otros.
